I am proud to say that I am a former student and Jeffco graduate.  I have been a teacher in Jefferson County for 27 years and am currently teaching my 6th year at Witt Elementary.  I have taught grades K-5 as a classroom teacher and grades K-6 as a reading specialist.  In my career, I have had the privilege of working with some amazing and memorable students.

I earned my BA degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood from the University of Northern Colorado and my MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Denver.

     During my free time, I love spending time with my family.  I am married and have two daughters who are 17 and 4.  We also have a dog and a cat.  I love to read, cook, play games, walk, watch movies and have adventures with my family.

     I am happy to be a part of the Witt Staff and am excited about my new learning as we continue our journey as a STEM school. I know this will be a great year!
